In this reincarnation, Microsoft strived to include the best features from Windows 7 and 8, while retiring some of the less attractive features in Windows 8.

What Is Windows Hello?

Windows Hello technology is a better alternative to traditional passwords, which can be intercepted by cybercriminals. Your current device may already have a fingerprint reader that can be unlocked with Windows Hello. Infrared technology helps the cameras recognize your iris or face in different lighting conditions.

You can now specify when you want to perform all your updates. This replaces the constant delay messages that used to appear whenever you postponed an update.

You can control your notifications in one place.
- Go to Settings > System
- You can disable each app can be disabled if you don’t like notifications. This includes Calendar and Cortana reminders and notices.
